The best use of celebrity endorsements

Celebrity endorsements are used to connect people to brands. The celebrity should encompass all the brand values and be a good representative of their message and image. If people have a good relationship with the celebrity they will look more favourably with the brand. Celebrities are seen as role-models and consumers value their opinion on products and services.

My favourite celebrity endorsements?

1. Gary Lineker and Walkers crisps

You can’t discuss celebrity endorsements without talking about Gary Lineker and his 22 year relationship with Walkers! They have literally been a team my whole life. He’s a great personality, a talent footballer and people value his opinion. Walkers is for everyone and Mr Lineker is loved by many, this makes him the perfect fit!

2. George Clooney and Nespresso

George Clooney is the perfect symbol of charm and sophistication. Women love him and men would love to be him! Nespresso is a coffee brand that values quality and maturity. By partnering with George Clooney, Nespresso are adding some suave and sexiness to their marketing message. PERFECT MATCH!

3. Nicole Scherzinger and Muller

Muller is aimed at healthy middle-aged women and mothers. Nicole Scherzinger is fun, talented and beautiful which is exactly what mums inspire to be! She is the perfect fit for the brand.
